News of the Chair of Information Systems, Processes and Systems - WI-Info Spring 2023

Abstract

This year's spring issue of WI-Info will feature innovative research initiatives and projects. In this exciting innovation landscape, we explore the expansion of the Industrie 4.0 Center, the DFG project Cyber-Physical Forgetting, ERASMUS+ EDUC +Management, the BMBF project: Mobile Fablabs, the Makerspace at the chair, the research project: IoT-BME and the latest scientific publications of the chair. The Industrie 4.0 Center has been instrumental in driving progress in the field of Industrie 4.0. This continuous expansion will change the convergence of digital and physical systems. In the area of cyber-physical systems, the DFG project "Cyber-Physical Forgetting" is the focus. This interdisciplinary project aims to explore the intricate relationship between humans and machines by investigating the mechanisms of human memory and its integration into cyber-physical systems. In addition, the department's Makerspace is becoming a center of creativity and collaboration, providing an environment where students, researchers, and enthusiasts can come together, experiment, and share ideas. The Makerspace is an ideal place for hands-on learning, encouraging exploration of different technological fields and stimulating the spirit of innovation. The research project: IoT-BME is an interesting exploration of the Internet of Things (IoT) and business model development. Finally, the Chair's new publications promise to push the boundaries of knowledge in their respective fields. These works highlight the latest research findings, theoretical frameworks, and practical applications, and provide a comprehensive and up-to-date perspective on emerging trends and advances.
