Welcome Class of 2023!

We warmly welcome the new class of our master’s program in Information Systems and Digital Transformation!

The winter semester 2021/22 has officially started and we want to give a warm welcome the new students of the graduating class of 2023.

A successful first acquaintance

Our new first-year students of the mater’s program "Business Informatics and Digital Transformation" were able to get to know each other in person for the first time at the kick-off event at the Research and Application Center Industry 4.0 and get an impression of what they can expect to learn and experience in the next two years at the University of Potsdam. After the initial welcome speech, there was a short presentation of the hybrid simulation environment of FAZI, as well as a highly appreciated sample of the fantastic baking skills of Ulf and his team.

The university as a place of community

Especially the last semesters showed us how important the exchange with and the connection to other students are and how much one can miss these aspects of studying. That's why we were particularly keen to encourage the new students to do some networking as early as possible and to establish contacts with the people with whom they will now be immersed in the world of digital transformation together on a daily basis for at least 2 years. The open-minded mood and positive atmosphere at the kick-off event already suggest only the best in this respect.

The LSWI wishes all first-year students a good start to their studies and looks forward to an exciting exchange with the Chief Digital Officers of tomorrow!
